Everyone has dreams, but only some of us turn our dreams into achievable goals. You may have a few dreams of your own too of these too. Are you pursuing them? If you’re not, what are the reasons you tell yourself late at night to put the shutdown on making them a reality? If you are like me, I’m guessing that these reasons are beliefs that you have, but that doesn’t mean they are valid reasons.

They are however beliefs that will stop you from hitting your goals.

1. Not Enough Time

Let’s get real for a minute, all of us are busy these days. When someone asks how you are doing, one of the typical responses you give is probably that you are “Busy.” But, we all have the same twenty-four hours in the day. What differentiates people who have enough time to hit their goals from those who don’t have enough time is how they use it.

For a week or maybe two, keep a record of how you spent your time. This includes sleeping, preparing and eating meals, social media, getting ready for work, cleaning your house. Take a good look at how your time is spent, and you might realize you have more time than you thought you did. You may also find that certain things like social media are eating up precious time that you could be using to work on goals or projects you have.
